Guest guest
Barb: I put in a list of things that help constipation. On the list #7 is suppositories that will help . Nothing worked for Fred , not even the fleet's, then I got these suppositories that Barb tolded me about and they help most of the time for him. Read about what I said about them being in a box and not in a jar. I had looked all over and couldn't fine them, but then I was looking for the jar like Fleet , not a box. I get them at Rite aid a box of 12 for $5.99 . Other names were box of 12 for $11.99 So Rite aid is the best prices I can find. Try using them at the same time everyday and it should help you . HUgs Vera Subj: RE; Constipation-Help. For those of you that are new here, you'll fine that constipation is one of the biggest problem with the MSA. We've all have something that may help you, and then maybe not. All you can do is try , until you do fine what works best. With my husband Fred, I've found that something will work , but only for awhile. Doctors have tolded me things to try, and then be suprise that it didn't work. I'm putting in a list of things that may help. They are some suggestions that other's have put in here from time to time. You may fine the right one , right off, and maybe then you won't. It's hard to say with this MSA. 1. Nulytely (Charmayne suggestion) 2. Swiss Kriss (someone on the list , just can't remember who ( 3. Cascara-sagrada (Diane Maxwell) 4. Miralax ( many on the list) 5. Phospho-soda ( Fred's urologist) 6.Colase (many on the list) 7. Bisacodyl usp suppositories (Barb ) these come in a box, not like fleet in a jar. Rite aid has these for half the cost in their bland. 8. Colonic ( which I take Fred in for every other month ) Also this is a natural laxtive that I think Jhn M put in. 1 cup applesauce 1/2 prune juice (you may want to try pear juice ) 2 t bran mix & refrigerate Take 1 Tablespoon daily. Just a few suggestions Subject: Suppositories Another Great topic for discussion............. I need to know the finer points of using suppositories, a new experience for me. What type, Generic or brand??? Stimulant or not??? Time of day ??? How often??? Any and all comments welcome...........Barb in SWVA
