But, the calcium issue is just not that confusing! Calcium citrate contains 25-29% of elemental calcium. So, for every 100 mg of calcium citrate you take, you are getting 25 - 20 mg of elemental calcium. In a 500 mg capsule that would be 125 mg of elemental calcium. In a 1000 mg dose (two capsules), that would be 250 mg. Kate (now, if I do have this confused, somebody just slap me and tell me to stick with the elemental calcium powder and stop doing math!) Guest guest
Yes, I think he's right, too, and that's because my brother-in-law is a food scientist, and he said the exact same thing as Ray. However, I use the Nature's Science calcium, and I will continue to use it because it's the only calcium pill I've found that I can swallow. What good is a super-charged pill if you can't get it down? So, I will just up my dosage...no prob. in NJ ************************************************ In a message dated 9/21/2002 9:23:06 AM Eastern Daylight Time, Graduate-OSSG writes: > Actually, I think the reason Ray keeps harping on this particular topic is > because he is right!
