Guest guest
sure sounds like the right location and symptoms for an incisional hernia...assuming your friend had an open RNY or DS. Mine didn't hurt either but when they got in to fix it, the surgeon said it was about twice as big as it had seemed. Your friend should see the surgeon who did the RNY -- they're used to finding and fixing these little buggers. /john stomach bulge Hi, I have a friend who's over a year out of surgery but is just learning her way around computers. Anyway, she has a problem and I'm hoping someone can help... Description -a large lump in the stomach area, above the belly button. A bulge that just sticks out, and is about the size of a large orange and a small grapefruit. It sometimes looks bigger than other times. If you stand in front of the mirror and look sideways, it just sticks out. One doctor thought it was a hernia - others can't " find it " . It appeared a few months after surgery, after about 50 pounds it became very noticeable. There is no pain at all, not any sensitivity.
