I know I have not been around for a very long time here but I do read

everything.

A little introduction for those that do not know me. My name is Toni. I

am 33 years old, married and the mother of 3. I had my gastric bypass

done in southern California On september 9,1999. It was the best thing I

have ever done besides my kids of course. I am 5'6 and in a size 5. I

lost 147 lbs.

I had my gall bladder reomved last week. It was laproscopically. My

question is that my back is still hurting. Not as bad but I am still in

pain. I had the sugrey done last thursday (5 days ago). Is it normal to

still have back pain? I thought it would go away right away but today I

am in great pain. I wanted some oppinions from the post ops here who

have had all this done already.

Thank you in advance,

Toni

I did not have any back problems when I had my gall bladder taken out.

I did have a much greater loss of energy and general malaise in the

month after that surgery than I did when I had the WLS.
