Guest guest
I sent a message last week about my husband's lack of appetite, weight loss, lack of sense of smell, vomitting when he ate, etc. The response from several of you was to get him to the doctor, which I did last Thursday. The results of the tests were liver - extremely high counts. We went for an ultrasound today of the liver today and abnormalities in the spleen, gall bladder, and liver were found. He was admitted to the hospital and they are doing a cat scan tomorrow. They started the procedure tonight, but then found his kidneys counts were off. They are going to hydrate him tonight and then do the cat scan in the morning. My question to you: have any of you experienced these type of problems? He blacked out Monday and again today twice. He is extremely week from not eating. Also, there has been information on this web site about surgery and anesthesia for shy-drager patients and I can't seem to find the information. Do any of you remember? I appreciate any help you can give me. Thank you.
