Guest guest
I just received a copy of my one year lab results and everything looks great except for my B-12. In six months, my B-12 level went from 343 to 268, so I am guessing that I probably now need to start supplementing my B-12. My question is can I do this in pill form or does it have to be in shot form? The report states that even though my B-12 levels are within regular levels, anything under 300 could start causing problems and needs to be addressed. And I have noticed that alot of us wls people need to supplement our B-12, so I guess I am now one of them. I have noticed that I am a little more tired lately, but just chalked it up to being more active. Does a lower B-12 cause tiredness? On a good note, my total cholesterol is now at 110 and my LDL level went down and my HDL level went up. My PCP was thrilled with my HDL level going up as I was low at my last labs. All the other results look good and even my potassium (something I have been having problems with for over 2 years now) is actually in the high normal range. Anyway, any advice you can give me on the best way to do the B-12 will be very much appreciated. Hugs, Jerri in MI
