Guest guest
Dodie, I saw Milly on the Oprah show, actually her husband was on the show but they showed clips of her. Unless she has passed on since the show I believe she is still living. It is wonderful to see how much she is loved by her husband and how much love he has taken care of her. I can imagine it is alot like Bill and his Charlotte if he had wrote a book about his experiences. You can tell how much love there was with his speaking about her. Anyways about flowers, I think it is wonderful you can have big dogs and flowers also! My dogs have an 1/2 acre lot fenced in for them because they like to wander and my neighbors don't care for big dogs. They are very loving but you do have to coincide with neighbors. Have you thought about planting Cypress Leman trees? I think that's how you spell Leman. They grow very fast and planted so many feet from each other they provide a great screen. Your bulbs, I don't know how long they have been planted but if they have been planted for several years than you might need to dig them up and seperate them. To big of a clump will keep them from producing the flowers that they once did. Since I have been sick I am not able to work in the gardens as I once did but I go out and work as long as my body tells me it will let me. I use to spend the whole day there. Seeing flowers start to come back in the spring is wonderful! I hope you have a good day, Dodie and love to hear more about your gardens. So, we CAN have both, flowers and dogs, LOL. I don't know > what happened unless lack of rain, but my bulb plants have few blooms and > they are drooping, that's not happened before.
