Guest guest
Note that last sentence....may I suggest that " or postoperative surveillance " is a joke? I don't know of any common plastic surgeon that gave a rat's ass what happened to the patient after implants were taken out. (Good plastic surgeon's are clearly the exception.) Just ask any woman who has been explanted how much contact she has had with the surgeon who did it, and for how long of a period afterward? My guess is that it is " nada. " Since there is no postoperative surveillance going on, the only possible alternative is to make sure that every explant procedure is done with a total capsulectomy, period. Just my two cents on that study, which is an important one. The only weakness associated with it is assuming that any postoperative surveillance would take place.
