Guest guest
Earlier this year when we began getting information that too much Vitamin A caused less absorption of calcium, I stopped taking my dry Vitamin A & D tablet. I thought I was probably getting enough Vitamin A from the two multi-vitamins taken daily. Because of my other pre-menopausal symptoms, I thought that the terrible leg cramps I started getting was yet another symptom. After starting progesterone and testosterone, the muscle aches I felt in my neck and shoulders went away, as did my hot flashes and some other symptoms. But the terrible leg cramps in my calves continued each night. Finally, after many months, I decided to add the dry Vitamin A & D back. Lo and behold, the cramps in my calves have disappeared! This may or may not be the solution to anyone else's leg cramps, but it's worth a try if other remedies have failed.
