Louise,

I have been trying to figure out what you and lou are looking for, I guess I missed the first email Ya'll sent out. If it is an MSA specialist at the New Orleans VA.

She is one of the top doctors in treating movement disorders.

God Bless,

Judy & Jim Stark

VA Movement Disorder Clinics

Thanks, lou - got a reply but nothing for paralyzed MSA quadraplegics mentioned. Do you get the on line Hospice Newsletter? Federal hearings on aging caregivers has PEOPLE to write if you read down far enough. Maybe I can get Pam to help with printout or hands up. No time for lobbying really, but can't afford not to either... I'm running out of gas at 74.

Do you get a VA Health Beat newsletter? They are asking for feedback and stories. Could we try? It is for South Central Network free publication.

LA Louise where it is freezin & breezin everything growin away. If you do not wish to belong to shydrager, you may unsubscribe by sending a blank email to shydrager-unsubscribe

Judy and Jim; We have been discussing the 5 or 6 locations

that the VA has for movement disorder studies and treatment of

Parkinson's patients. Sam was their only SDS along with 176

Parkinsons people. I gave Louise the locations of the centers--at

VA hospitals. If you are in New Orleans, VA (not LA) there is one

that might be convenient in Richmond, VA. Good luck. Sam goes

occasionally to one in Philadelphia. At 09:35 PM 2/26/2002 -0600,
