Guest guest
To: Deborah aka Tenacity, Thanks for looking up the information on Seroquel. It helps one understand better how the medicine works. To: Aletta, Thanks for the information on your experience with calcium. To: Sally, Peg always comes up with surprises. Last night Peg played a full round of duplicate bridge - 28 hands in competition. She hasn't been able to do that for six months. She had only been able to play two to four hands at a time. The bridge wasn't great although there were moments of excellent play. She has been on Exelon for several months after being on aricept for a year and a half or so. The anecdotal experience here on Guam is that aricept wears out between one and two years. That's including a lot of experience with Lytico-Bodig which is also considered to be one of the Parkinson's Plus diseases. Thank goodness Peg has never had the bad hallucination experiences like your mother. The seroquel has seems to have some good effect. The GNC store at which we buy TwinLabs CarboFuel for Peg tells me that the company is no longer going to make / carry the product. It has been a good source of 400 calories for Peg in the mornings. Apparently it has also helped with her sinemet, based on the theory that protein may interfer with the way sinemet works. I'm not sure what I'm going to do to replace the CarboFuel because Peg doesn't like eating but she will drink her calories.
