Guest guest
The money comes from social security. You get SSDI which is Social Security Disability. The SSI is supplemental security income. That part comes from the state. The max is slightly over $700 a month I think. Not much to live on. I'm looking for work now again. I can't cut it with what I get. I moved back home to help my dad with my mom. She had parkinsons and alzheimers. Since I am living with a relative I only get $550 a month. If I go back to work anything over $85 a month, will have 50% of the overage deducted from the SSDI. That works out to about $30 a week I have for gas and spending quality time with my 14 year old son. What a life huh? SEE YA...! " First the doctor told me the good news. I was going to have a disease named after me. " STEVE MARTIN > If you are lucky enough to get on SSI, how do they base what monies that > you will receive. Is it just like welfare? One set standard? Guest guest
, You need to be on an antibiotic....an untreated urinary tract infection and work itself up into the kidneys and give you polynephritis....something you really don't want...you think you feel bad now....or you will feel worse later. Guest guest
, I am 16 months post-op and yes, I have had bladder infections. Not bad until this last one about 3 weeks ago. I went to the doctor and she treated it like a bladder infection, but sent off a culture and put me on Cipro and the medicine that makes your urine orange. The culture came back that I had a really bad urinary tract infection. I had to go on 10 days of Cipro. The Cipro did not make me sick, and in fact helped with the loose stools and gas problems. I actually felt better taking that than I had in a long time! The infection is gone now, although the meds did give me a yeast infection, which I used Monistat cream for. Everything is fine now, but wanted to let you know it is common, and we can take the meds without any problems to our MGB tummy. You really should see your PCP because it will only get worse. Good luck and hope you are feeling better soon! C from VA 12/20/01 Dr. R -185 lbs Question? > Hi everybody, > I have a question. Guest guest
, I am just getting over a bladder infection. I am 6 weeks post op and have had one since about the 2nd week after surgery. It's an evil cycle for me. Bladder infection....yeast infection....bladder...yeast. The antibiotics give me the yeast. I have started drinking a little water in addition to the gatorade. And I am actually over both right now. I think for myself it is because I don't drink near the amount of liquid that I did before surgery. I am constantly sipping, but when you add it all up it is nothing compared to pre op. I too am curious if others have frequent bladder infections? Guest guest
, You need to see your doctor ASAP. You can try watering down the cranberry juice, the sugar that's in the juice is probably making you feel rotten, along with the infection in your body. Guest guest
, If you definitely have a bladder infection, you will have to take an antibiotic. Cranberry juice will not cure it, drinking it or taking cranberry pill supplements can maybe help prevent it. I believe that it's ok to take antibiotics after surgery. Get this done so you don't have to suffer. Nov. 6, 2002 376/281 Question? > Hi everybody, > I have a question. Guest guest
, I had three bladder infections within several months after surgery. I think it probably had to do with not getting enough liquids in. Get to a doctor and get yourself on an antibiotic before it gets worse. Take care and good luck. Guest guest
you can break the yeast cycle by eating yogurt once or twice a day. at least until you are able to drink more. the bacteria in the yogurt is beneficial to your system and will help. be sure to get the kind with live cultures! xoxoox caTHY S IN VA > > Hi everybody, > > I have a question. Guest guest
yes. Don't know how to solve. Maybe bath with baking soda? SheilaN question? Is it possible for severe body odor to be one of the syptoms of candida. I ask this because I suffer from recurring yeast infections and I also seem to get negative reactions from people concerning a certain aroma coming from me. I dunno. What are anyone's experience with this problem and how did they solve it?
Guest guest
it is a general symptom of a body in bad need of detoxing. your body is relying heavily on your skin to eleminate waste. a sure sign that your organs of elimination are probably overburded. > Is it possible for severe body odor to be one of the syptoms of > candida. Guest guest
I get involuntary eye twitches and sometimes body twitches. Goes w/the territory. [ ] Question? Does anyone have problems with involuntary mouth movements and hand movements. For lack of other words, tic like movements? My husband has developed these movements for the past three months and he is not aware that he is doing this. The Doctor suggested that I ask the boards if anyone has encountered this. He is not on He is on minocycline and lexapro. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks Saintlyme 2003
Guest guest
Yes, I do in my hands and it's about driving me crazy. The kids say I look like Ozzie Osbourne. I just started on antibiotics, etc. a little over a month ago though, so it might just be a herx thing. Some days are worse than others. It seems I struggle to hold them still then all of sudden it's like a quick discharge of energy. They shake. Then stop. Guest guest
Hi , I always feel odd in responding, but I do have some experience with Lumbar pain. I'm sure there are more ways to work on your problem, but this should be a good starting point. Go to Therapy Page Select Super Learning/Time Therapies If working in Subspace, do Quick Virtual check If using Harness, select Quick Check of Phase Select Injury Pain RX (this is about 20 mins.) Also use the Disease Dictionary. There will be several areas that relate to your problem. I hope this helps. Guest guest
If you have edema, it means the kidneys are overworked. You need to work on the kidneys and not just with the QX but with a good kidney remedy containing pure cordyceps (and no fillers in the supplement). I would contact a really good herbalist. Also, the light beam generator can help but only if someone really knows how to use it. Castor oil packs on the kidneys for about 45 minutes once a day will help them heal. Using the lymph program on the qx, also (hit the box under spinal program). Chronic fatigue? A good all around amino acid complex is really important. Cleaning the lymph system. Making sure the main detox organs are clear -- liver, lymph, kidneys. If you are a new practitoner, you need to consult someone who has been around the block a few years, like kathy . is Rotella, M.Ac., CNC > Hi we just got our qx and I am trying to help my grandmother I wonder if there is anybody that could recomend a therapy for severe leg edema, extreme hip, waist, and lumbar pain; also gall bladder problems. Guest guest
, I have Tourette's syndrome and my ticks ( Hand and eye) both increase when i am stressed. I am sure this issue is stressful on your child so maybe her ticks are more prominant b/c of this. Also, low potassium does cause twitching of the eye. So just giving her foods that are high in potassium may be good. The best thing I have learned overall for myself is that stress aggervates a whole lot of symptoms, so stayiong stress free is not an option but avoiding it is the key. I hope this helps a little. Guest guest
: I have gotten rid of twitching with calcium. <angel_lts@...> wrote: My daughter has had her menstrual cycle for I guess 17 days now. SHe does not have epilepsy, she has a thyroid problem. I decided to get blood work done for the thyroid, possible the meds was too low. I decided that she needed progesterone cream to help stop with the bleeding but it is hard to figure out how much. The bleeding has not stopped so I took her to the doctor, for she was getting too weak and going to gym was very hard to do. Especially when it was heavy bleeding. The doctor said that the thyroid was too low, so they raised the level, that was the problem. But they wanted her off the cream and give it in the pill form just for about 10 days, till the bleeding stops quicker. The bleeding is decreasing but it is taking so long. She said if it doesnt stop they would put her on birth control to stop it. (hope not) SHe is now twitching in her eyes badly. That it is giving her headaches. SHe does have tics. But not like this. She usually has it in her hand a little. But I do believe she has somekind of deficency from all the loss of blood. So I decided to try to give her foods with potassium in it. Could this be the cause? I started her on foods with potassium think she is low on that. We tried magnesium a drink and she just got diarrea from it. ANd then next thing will be B6. Does anyone have any suggestions? thanks epilepsyapproach/
Guest guest
Thank you Tracey and I do see that when I give her foods with potassium in it, that the tics ease up alot. But hours later they start up again. But I know that she is still bleeding so I believe that is why. I do believe that she is going to have to eat the potassium every so many hours in order to keep this from getting too low and causing so many tics. As for the calcium, I have never heard of that. But I will keep that in mind if this doesnt stop soon. thanks epilepsyapproach/ > > , > I have Tourette's syndrome and my ticks ( Hand and eye) both increase when i > am stressed.
