Guest guest Posted October 2, 2002 Report Share Posted October 2, 2002 Hi - you might want to run for 2-3 weeks with no lactose; you may have developed an intolerance where you did not have one before. I eat a wide range of foods, the good kind and the bad kind. I have really noticed that since about 2 years out, my gas and flatulence significantly reduced, and I can't see that I made any big changes in my diet. I do know there are a few specific foods which will trigger gas (both the internal and external kind): potato chips, caramel corn, rum. Whenever I am experiencing an ongoing bout, I start keeping track religiously of what I am eating, and what I am eliminating. I can almost always identify the specific culprit that way.
