If you visit the group page you will see there are no new messages to speak of

so I don't think it's ...more like it's just not a very active group. I

believe I saw that Roni was off-line due to computer problems and she is one of

the more active posters.

This one did! Have you being posting new posts or only replying to

posts? If only replying then 99.9% chance you only replied to the

person who posted what you were replying to, which is now the default

for this group. Check your Sent folder.

There is a lot of candida tests. Honestly, they aren't 100 % effective. The

saliva test doesn't have scientific support.

In my opinion, the best thing you can do is to go on a really strict no carb

diet and see what effect it has on your health. Not an easy thing to do of

course, but it is possible if you put your mind to it.

The only problem is that some people feel worse for a while when they cut out

the carbs. But if you persevere with the diet, you may start to feel some

improvement after a while. If you do eventually feel better on a now carb diet,

then the chances are you have candida.

Yes, a good response to a diet and antifungals can be a simple way to know if

candida is the culprit. I agree.

It seems the best test is from MetaMetrix using DNA for all problems including

candida, parasites and gluten, etc. My doc prescribed it to me and it was

negative for Candida, H Pylori, etc.But you can order it youself from lab by

searching on-line.Split test worked well too, you can find it on-line.

I have been reading a lot of posts in the candida forums for long time from

people who have taken Genova, Immuno Lab, Metametrix, Great Plain Lab and other

candida and CDSA tests. The true is most people are not happy with the results,

false negatives are very commun and contradictory results too. There are cases

who have taken the CDSA from to different labs a the same time and they show

totally different results. Who can believe in them????

My CDSA changed my life....I am so grateful I had it done....it determined what

kinds of yeasts I had and gave three recommended ways of treating them from most

medically aggressive to completely natural treatments. I also found out what

wasn't living in my intestines.

Maybe you are only hearing from those who are not happy.

My advice is to work with a naturopath and follow a plan.
