Guest guest
Dana, No more supplements? Won't that be grand?!! I still feel way behind on chelation knowledge, so I have a question: Is chelation ever truly " complete " ? Won't you have to do some chelation the rest of your child's life assuming that the problem is your child's inability to process the metals that most kids can process out of the body? Or, are you just using the term " complete " to mean you've reached the point where chelation will be done as maintanence only. I also don't quite get how the methywhatever categories can be that distinct, but maybe I'm not understanding something. Perhaps some people really do totally fit into those groups, though, and that would be helpful. > > AFter looking at this for a bit and getting a real headache (LOL) it > > seems to me that the glitch is here: > > > After reading this thread, I am glad I did not try to understand this > issue LOL > > I am NOT a scientific type! > > All I know is that my son did not tolerate P5P, because it aggravated > his phenol symptoms > > http://www.autismchannel.net/dana/phenol.htm > > I tried TMG for two of my kids, and I almost had to take one to the > hospital, even at 1/4 dose. > > Fortunately, as chelation is progressing, my kids are improving by > REMOVING supplements, instead of adding them. Right now we are down to HNI enzymes, cal/mag, ALA and milk thistle on chelation days, and occasional zinc and GSE. This is down from about 10-12 supplements just a few months ago. > I still feel way behind on chelation knowledge, so I have a > question: Is chelation ever truly " complete " ? Depends. If the MT protein theory is correct, then the inability might be correctable, so then maybe one day chelation might be *complete*. And some kids' bodies might actually be able to keep up with the daily exposure, once the major metals from vax are removed. > Or, are you just using the > term " complete " to mean you've reached the point where chelation will > be done as maintanence only. This was my use of the term. > I also don't quite get how the methywhatever categories can be that > distinct, but maybe I'm not understanding something. Andy just posted an " explanation " on a-m forum, which once again went way over my head LOL Perhaps some > people really do totally fit into those groups, though, and that > would be helpful. It would be helpful to say " if X supplement helped your child, then consider also Y " , or conversely " if X supplement made your child worse, then stay away from Y " .
