Guest guest
Lynn, Dr. Baser is my husband nureo. and we both think she is wonderful. She is very professional, well up to date with the disease and medications (My husband Lee has sds) and is a wonderful person to talk to. She takes time to listen and answer questions and never makes us feel as though she is rushing us as some doctors tend to do. She makes herself available at all times for questions through her nurse Amy who is also very easy to talk with. Amy has an answering service and will get back to you usually the same day with an answer to your questions. the team is great. Your husband would do well to see her. besides, my husband just added, she is a very nice person and a pretty blonde to boot. We see her again on Friday. Keep me posted on your decision and a " break a leg " to your son. Exciting to be a musical. Ann Hoovler

The waiting time for a specialist around here, may be three months, it was last year. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia last year and arthrosis a long time ago. The rehab doctor put aside all the other symptoms with the famous words: " I only diagnose on fibromyalgia, and therefor won't look at other symptoms." > 6. When you are in you flare what are you symptoms?? Swollen glands, sore throat, slight temperature until fever. A puffy face, feet and belly like a balloon. Decreasing and dropping off birth marks, bleeding things like on my head, nose and mouth sores, metallic taste, changing fingers, spasms, legs collapsing, breathing problems, vision problems, tremors, nauseous, dizziness, black-outs, abdominal pains, pain in the esophagus, all kinds of pain, cramps, loosing weight and so much more, I might have forgotten. Sometimes I go a bit crazy, like in hallucinations. I don't know for sure if I have lupus, but in the first place to keep searching and fighting for a specialist, who will listen, and in the mean while, not to panic, but to learn to cope with the symptoms. Also to listen to your body and try to make yourself has comfortable as possible. > 8. If you could go anywhere with just you and your dh or so where > would it be?? I would like to go on a world trip. There are so many places/continents I would like to see, I can't choose just one place. I might never come home again. > 9. Do you have any pets?? (what kind and there names) Well, I do have a large collection of house spiders walking around. The first in the bathroom had names, like R & B, and a third was called Arachne and a fourth Anansi, but there are too many nowadays. Like now, during the summer , they are very useful, to catch mosquitoes. Recently I have a mouse. At first two, but I caught one and now the other is a homeless mouse. Thank you, Mandy, what a splendid idea! It's fun to read them. Micha.
