Saw my pain control doctorand showed him my legs ankles --they wer trriblyswollen rd and hot. He immdiaely clled my primary cp who sent me tothe hospital for sonogram opp;er to detrmine if i had a clot. fortumately i did not or ele thy would ha hospitalizd. It is just a abad a of cellulitis. I am on one of those vicious cycles---get and infetion tke an antibiotic get C-DIFF take anoth4er antibioti---gt anothr infetion et. oh well it will ha to to one of thes days. It seems that for some rason whn i got online tody the wb had taken me off my groups aso i he no e mail for th last 3 or 4 days. If I missed something important plase let me know. I hope i loggged on successfully again. andclaudia I alsohave mitral valv rolaps and tricuspid vale insufficiency due to rp. susan=I had taken high doses of prd (100mg for two yrs) and as a r4sult my bon4es ar4 totally trahed. the doc sid i hav th bons of an 80 yar old woman. I have 9 frcturs in my back right now. I have gone from 5'6 " to 4'11 " . Now I am on calcium and everythre months i get an infusion of aridea--unfortunatelyaft 9 months of that treatment mylat bon4e d4ensity show that my bons are wor (Ha i did'n't thank that w possible " Judy--i did not kow that one should not tke calcium ad zantac at the same time. thanks for th info. Guest guest Posted April 2, 2001 Report Share Posted April 2, 2001 Deise, I know how miserable cellutis is, you can't stand the pain and you're dying to scratch! I hope you feel better soon. It's funy that you mentioned shrinking, I am too, started at 5'9 1/2 " and I am now down to 5'7, but I think mine is due to my disc problems (at least, I hope it is!)
