Guest guest
Good luck, Marcia! One of the more complex carbs I've found that satisfies the crispy/salty craving is crackers that are like Triscuits from Whole Foods. You just gotta' have something to put cheese on. If you look hard enough in a healthy food type store, you can find crackers/crisp breads whose only ingredients are whole wheat and salt. A lot of food manufacturers try to fake you out with white flour that's just colored brown, or " enriched, " , etc. Good luck! in Austin RNY April 1998 Breaking Plateau!! > Good Morning all, > Well, I am off to try to break this plateau!! > I was desperate and talked with the Manager at the Curves where > I go to exercise. Guest guest
One of my favorite crunchy things to eat is Ak-Mak crackers. They are stone ground wheat with sesame seeds and I think they are wonderful. Five crackers contain 116 cal., 2.27 gr. fat, and 19 g. carbs. Since I love sesame seeds they are perfect for me with a little chunk of cheese on 'em or sometimes I just eat 'em plain. I get mine at Trader Joe's for just .99 a box.
