Guest guest
Bernice Does he have the low blood pressure problems or is his more stiffness. Bill knows more about the Sinemet, I think than anybody. My father-in-law never used it so I don't know as much about it. Is he unable to walk? MSA patients are very prone to urinary track infections and inhalation pneumonia if they are having swallowing problems. Does he have physical therapy or does he do range of motion exercises? Is he able to eat normally and is he getting plenty of fluids? Dehydration is a major problem with MSA. Do you live in an area of the country that has a Parkinson support group. We have MSA groups in some areas of the country. Pam keeps a listing so we can get in touch with others if they are close by. If you aren't too far from Cleveland, there should be someone close by you can talk to. Is this state something new or has he been like this a long time? You might see if your doctor has checked him for infection and see if you can get more fluids down him. You should be hearing from others soon to give you a few more ideas about how to help your husband most. We have a good deal of knowledge between all of us.
