Someone put a SPAM message in very poor taste at best on our list.

It was this evening and listed as:

Re: No one needs to die from MSA anymore! by " ericzemann "

ericzemann@...>

It is a ficticious email address and from an " unknown " source. Do NOT send

money to the address as it is NOT a legitimate claim at all. The " science "

quoted has nothing to do with MSA and it is pure quackery.

This thing had bogus written all over it. Hopefully no one on this list or

any other list would fall for such an obvious hoax. However, its just too

bad that there are means by which to have people who would prey upon the

members of a list such as our prosecuted, fined and/or imprisoned for doing

so.

If it was a joke -- it wasn't funny. If it was a true intent to receive

money by defrauding innocent people -- is surely must be illegal.

It was NOT a joke, it had a Swiss bank account number, so someone could get the

money. It is too bad that our politicians don't look out for us against

schemes like this as well as they look out to stop stem cell research.
