Guest guest
, Ok now I see what you are upset about. The reason I asked this question was because I was accused of all those things with the first few doctors I seen and they weren't all neurologist. I had to go through GP (man), internist(woman),and several male neurologist. It was not a question whether I could stand up to them because I did. I told them they were the one who needed psychiatric help and I walked out to find another doctor. I have seen men go in to see a doctor and never be accused of having their period, accused of being mentally or physcially abused. It has nothing to do with standing up to them and telling them it isn't the problem because they already have this in their head and they don't change it. The only thing you can do is get up and leave and not waste anymore of your time with that doctor. You just have to keep going until you find one that believes you. Don't tell me to get over it because I know this to be a fact and I know it to be a fact with alot of women regardless of their temperments. I had it in my head after seeing men doctors to go to women doctors because surely they wouldn't blame anything like that but they do. They can be just as bad as men doctors. I am not saying all doctors are like this. I have finally found good doctors and some of them are men. I do know there are alot of doctors out there who shouldn't even have a doctors licence. I guess according to Jim and Judy Stark they are right. These doctors have the lowest GPA. Your wife, , never has been to a doctor with MSA symptoms and I am glad she hasn't been. You might not ever have to see her go through what I have gone through like my husband did. He didn't have to get up and say anything because I did. So get over it, I have. I just hate that there will be other people out there who will go through it also. I wish these doctors could not be doctors anymore. Can I prevent this from happening to others? NO! I just want others to know they are not the only ones who go through this.
