Hi Pam,

Me again, I had another thought after I sent my last message. I would think

that we may be of some help to the research especially, as in Mark's case,

that the brain donation did actually confirm MSA.

Take Care,

Judy

Hi Judy, I can relay that question to the researchers. I'll let you know

what they say. Are you all moved to Ohio now?

Hugs,

Pam

Pam,

In regards to survivors speaking with researchers...

There are many things that I think are important when

considering my father's dx of MSA. For example, he had

a serious head injury about 25 years before he was dx.

Also, as a child he worked on his family farm all

summer, every summer. In an attempt to keep the

chiggers away, my father (then a young boy) would

cover himself in whatever pesticide they were using on

the crops. He did this his entire childhood. Given the

theory that environmental factors might cause MSA, I

would think things like this might be significant to

someone researching the disease. I have let the Drs.

we worked with on the brain donation know this info.
