How much weight will they be removing? This might be a huge factor. Is your

goal a number you are shooting for? Sometimes that never happens - our

bodies just stop. How far out are you? Personally I would go for it before

they change their minds!

I have to say that I was done losing by 11 months out. I was approved for

tummy and arms and had it done at 18 months out. I lost about 10 lbs post

and put it all back. (I didn't eat solids - just shakes for two weeks -

didn't want to poop! LOL). I would have to say that I think you are about

done - unless you use heroic measures - you know eating nothing but a lettuce

leaf every third day and exercising 3 hours a day. Go for it! But remember

it's JMHO...

Good luck!

My WLS recommended that we have the PS before readhing goal weight,

as long as the welght loss had stabilized. This is because you leave

some weight behind ( " on the cutting room floor " as they say in

Hollywood), and from the surgical " trauma " you will probably lose

some more weight. I left 10 pounds on the cutting room floor and

lost another 10 pounds in the two weeks following my plastics (hernia

repair, abdominoplasty, butt and outer thigh lift). And, I have lost

an additional five pounds since then.
