Dear Patty: just my two cents worth, there is a statute of limitations in

your state... many states give at least one or two years (many give more)

from time you first realized you had been wronged for you to file suit or

make a demand or whatever. So, you have TIME to think that part through. Find

out what the statute of limiteations is; call a personal injury lawyer and

just ask; they should not charge you. Then, spend your time right now healing

up, and you can think about the legalities a little down the road That's your

main job now dear--to put all your jing toward your healing up.

Anesthesia does dull some people's taste buds. If that is what your promlem

is, rest easy, for Taste comes back. Be patient with that part.

Infection (I had one from rny and lost my spleen as a result; nightmare) is

a morbidity associated with any kind of cutting surgery. However, just my

personal opinion, being sent home with a wound that stinketh sounds very

strange.

If there is a wound center in your town, look into being referred there. Most

of all go to whichever doctor you trust. I have to say I don't think much of

a doc who is teaching his residents first and being with his patient second.

Once you are healed we can talk about options for filing grievances and all

the rest if you are so inclined then.

You take good care, I have no doubt everyone here is rooting for you. You

will make it. Be meticulous about taking care of your wound. Up your protein

even if you hate doing so. You must also drench your insides with water

whether you want to drink or not to get the anesthesia out of your system.

You will feel so much better once that is done. You must eat fiber to clean

out the anesthesia from your system. You will feel so much better once you

get that residue out of your system.

lastly my girl, let no one tell you something against your own intuition and

gut hunches. You may not know everything about your body, but you are its

eye-witness, its only one.
