Off Topic (sort of): Insane Pictures List

I am having the same problem. I unsubscribe to that Insane Pictures List a

least a dozen times and I still get a message that I am newly subscribed. Until

your post I had no idea where theu were getting my name from. Is there any way

to stop this harassment?

I emailed their webmaster and they put me on a " banned " list. Now, instead

of saying I've been subscribed, it says I can't be subscribed. I set my

message rules in Outlook Express to put it in the deleted folder. I

couldn't figure out any other way to stop it.

I don't know what's up, except that it's annoying. I kind of doubt that

yahoo groups would let an infection like this go on, but maybe.

In other words, I don't know nothing !!!!!

it mails to and/or from randomly. I get attempts at this virus from MYSELF.

Well, if EVERYONE on this list would run an updated virus checker it

would clean off the KLEZ virus and this would stop. But the infected

person needs to do this in order for this to work. I have Norton

Antivirus on my computer and it updates daily. It's not that

expensive and it would make everyone's life a lot easier.

Please, everyone, if your computer doesn't have some sort of anti-

virus software on it, that is UPDATED regularly, get some! There are

numerous programs out there. Not only is this a nuisance, but some

viruses can wipe out your entire computer. Not good!

Well, if EVERYONE on this list would run an updated virus checker it

would clean off the KLEZ virus and this would stop. But the infected

person needs to do this in order for this to work. I have Norton

Antivirus on my computer and it updates daily. It's not that

This is not completely true... I send and recieve yahoo!groups mail

only thru the website. I don't use my computer to send mail to

Graduate-OSSG. I also get the subscription messages.... But only when

I send messages to Graduate-OSSG. Furthermore, my computer is UNIX

based and not susceptible to KLEZ. Therefore the problem is not the

sender... it's somehow the list... Yahoo!Groups has the problem...

they need to clean it up.... The question becomes how do we put this

back in their laps??????
