Hey Jim,

I don't doubt what you say is true at all and as we found in the truth or

fiction article some of that email was indeed true and some of it was made

up and dates were changed. Many of the soldiers who were named aren't happy

about it being sent around the internet. Maybe you can write a letter to

Jane Fonda herself and tell her how it made you feel for her to do what she

did. I think she needs to hear it from the people she really affected.

Hugs and much respect for your past service.

Pam

I stick by my position!

Dear Family,

I admit there may be some exaggerations about her visit to Hanoi, That does

not excuse her action of giving aid and soloist to our then enemy.

Pam., I admit that there has been some literary license in some articles,

She is guilty as charged!

I know its hard for those who were not even born during these events to

understand the feelings of at least one vet about this transgression.

As you requested, I looked account and it is attached to this email.

Here is a quote from the article: " The Fonda-Hayden trip became

unforgettable because it infuriated Americans, especially Americans in

uniform, many of whom still regard her as a traitor. She praised the North

Vietnamese, posed for a photo at a Communist anti-aircraft gun emplacement,

made several radio broadcasts for the Communist North Vietnamese in which

she called American military leaders " war criminals, " then when some of the

POWs returned home and described mistreatment by the North Vietnamese, she

said Americans should " ...not hail the POWs as heroes, because they are

hypocrites and liars. " There is no dispute that her visit took place, that

her words and actions were in support of the enemy, and that her conduct

caused harm to the war effort and to some of the prisoners of war. "

I stand by my convection that she is a traitor. I guess these things don't

mater much any more, we did elect another traitor to the white house.

God Bless America,

Judy & Jim Stark
