Guest guest
Hi Beth, I found my tt much easier than my RNY and I had my arms done at the same time. Same restriction (no lifting for 6 weeks...) but I was back to work in two weeks. The first few days are a little rough - but after that you will be doing fine. Good Luck! I I was very, very uncomfortable and in pain after my abdominoplasty. For me, it was worse than the DS surgery, and I found I had to take regular pain medication for a week. I slept in my recliner for 10 days (until the drains came out). I could walk around the house (gingerly) the next day, could not drive until I stopped the pain meds at 1 week. I drove myself to the doctor 45 minutes away to have the drains removed at 10 days. Was running around with the kids during week 3. Back to work at the end of Week 3. I remained quite swollen for two months - tended to puff up with fluid by the end of a day. Once I had to go back to the dr. to have fluid drained. I recall being quite miserable for a good ten days. In retrospect, it doesn't seem bad at all (because I am so happy with the results). Kate Abdominoplasty done 12/3/
