Guest guest
, You always seem to mention something that my dad is experiencing though he is not always able to verbalize it. When you write about it, I seem to understand more about what he is experiencing. He has been having eyesight problems also. Could you explain it in more detai? He has trouble with focusing on television and sometimes cannot see what is on his dinner plate. Other times he has better vision. His eyes look really red sometimes also. Other times he can see everything fine! Jean (phx)
Guest guest
Sam has a great deal of trouble with his eyes. He had a giant hemorrhage in one eye from macular degeneration, which renders that eye useless--has peripheral vision there though. But he can't read, has given up the computer, and doesn't identify faces outside of the home if he is not used to people's general mannerisms and voices etc. I wish he could do something on the computer, but I don't think he can learn anything new at this point--he is sharp about his mathematical theorem that he learned lo these many years ago. Sometimes he sees something on the floor--a small something, etc. Amazing. But he can't get food on his fork and often lifts an empty fork to his mouth. And so it goes. Well, as my father used to say, " one dirty dish after another. " However, we are managing. Guest guest
Bob also has had eye problems. He had double vision for 3 months & after that cleared up, 2 weeks later he had a detached retina, which was surgically attached. His vision seem ok now, although he has lost the desire to read, but watches tv. Regards, jerrie
