If you check your system history, it is likely that file has been there

since your original system was installed. I have no idea what happens if you

delete it; but I'm pretty sure that having it is NOT indicative of having a

virus.

I received a warning from Emachines about this hoax.

Evidently that file is only needed if you are writing

java programs for Virtual Machines programs. So, if

you were stupid like me and deleted the file before

you received the warning, it is not necessary to try

to restore it.
