Aletta,

Buscopan

This medicine will add to the effects of alcohol and other CNS depressants

(medicines that

slow down the nervous system, possibly causing drowsiness). Some examples

of CNS

depressants are antihistamines or medicine for hay fever, other

allergies, or colds; sedatives,

tranquilizers, or sleeping medicine; prescription pain medicine or

narcotics; barbiturates;

medicine for seizures; muscle relaxants; or anesthetics, including some

dental anesthetics.

Also mentions dry mouth as a symptom of side effects. It is also known as

Scopolamine (used as a truth serum in WWII) by injection.

Take care, Bill Werre

--Aleeta,

I am so sorry that you are having problems with doctors. I hope all

goes well with you in your complaint. I don't know very much about

MSA or medicines since I am new to this and trying to learn as much

as I can. I am so glad that we have this site to come to and that

people are so nice to answer questions for us.
