*retro omental means behind the omentum, a ligament (i think)

*antegastric means in front of the stomach...ante means front, gastric refers to

stomach

*alimentary refers to the alimentary canal, I think

*biliary limb refers to the vessel that comes from the gall bladder to the

stomach (bile is made in the gall bladder)

*cholecystectomy means they removed your gall bladder...

Even though I am an RN it has been a long time since anatomy class. My

specialties are hearts and open heart bypasses so even with my own lap RNY I am

still just a little vague.
