Hi Everyone...

Today is 2 years...and I have been feeling very

emotional all week. It is amazing for me to think

about all the wonderful, and challenging changes I

have seen since 08/04/00.

I have my 2 year appt with Rabkin on 08/20 and

received my blood work. Everything looks pretty

good...except my Liver levels are elevated. The office

said that this is pretty normal for Post Ops...I will

find out more later...so I can ease my mind!

I am reducing the amount of sugar I have been eating

and am seeing the results. I am not weighing myself

but can feel it in my clothes.

I pray for each and everyone of else on this journey,

and know that we all share a very special bond - We

all know what that is.

I never was able to share this at the Fashion show in

April 01, but find it fitting now.. This song...and

the lyrics that have carried me from months Preop to

even the operating room...with my CD in hand...It is

what this journey means to me...and I know in my heart

that you will understand.

" Afterglow " - Genesis (The group)

Better think awhile, or I may never think again.

If this were the last day of your life my friend,

Tell me what do you think you would do then?

Stand up to the blow, that fate as struck about you,

Make the most of all you still have coming to you -

Lay down on the ground and let the tears run from you

Crying to the grass and trees and heaven finally on

you knees...

Let me live again, let life find me wanting,

Spring must strike again, against the shield of winter

Let me feel once more, the arms of love that surround

me,

Telling me the dangers past, I need not feel the icy

blast again.
