Hello Kind Folks:

I'm trying to decipher my post-op report.....figure out if I'm distal,

medial, or proximal, etc.

Can anyone tell me what this means:

retro-omental antecolic, antegastric 120 alimentary and 60cm biliary limb,

standard Roux-en-Y gastric bypass. (RNY and cholecystectomy <---what the

heck is this??) (is this enough info to tell??)

A total gastric division was done of the upper stomach creating a proximal

rectangular pouch of approx an ounce (I guess this means I'm transected? =)

=) =)

Thank you in advance!!!

Staci
