Guest guest
, I have heard of at least several people on the list using Zanaflex. I have not heard any bad reports that I can remember, so it is evidently okay for most people. Charlotte got the Botox shots which helped her arm greatly. She had no side effects that we could see. They were paid for by Medicare. Of course that was last year and I know there have been more cuts this year in Medicare. For "caring" politicians, these guys sure do keep cutting Medicare, especially in home care areas. I still feel they care more for a few cells that are questionable as "human" AND will never become a human than they do for making a sick person feel comfortable or able to move. Of couse if you die, they can stop your disability, your Medicare, and pay you a flat $255 to bury you. Medicare still keeps refusing to pay some of Charlotte's last bills, I know she is dead, but they were when she was still alive. Take care, Bill ================================= & Ramm wrote: Hello everybody, The doctor has suggested that Dan be prescribed Tizanidine (Zanaflex). Has anyone out there tried this particular drug for muscle spasms. I've asked for Dan to get Botox shots for his hands. For Medicare to pay, we need to follow a specific protocol. I read about the side effects of this drug and I'm not too happy about them. Dan can't talk so I need to vocalize for him. Any information would be much appreciated. Thanks.
