Guest guest Posted February 23, 2002 Report Share Posted February 23, 2002 Louise: Paraquat was used for a time by the DEA (mostly in Mexico as I understand, although also in the Carolinas) on suspected marijuana crops. Smoking a sprayed crop would result in unpleasant death. Seemed ok for foreign consumption but was made illegal for that specific use. If it had other applications I am unaware of it. Sally and Louise: Although in my case delusional states of loved ones around me were not caused by dementia, I likewise felt disheartened, pained and victimized with no place to take the hurt and blame. You just cannot rationalize the irrational, but it is simply human to keep trying anyway.
