GSE slows phase 1 liver metabolism, which is okay unless your phase 1

is slow to begin with. SSRI medication requires a certain constant

level of liver metabolism to maintain blood levels. Therefore, using

GSE along with SSRI medications can either cause too much medication

to be in the bloodstream [so you would have to reduce the dose of the

SSRI] or it can cause fluctuating levels, which is not good.

Could someone recommend what to use to help keep yeast at bay if your child

was taking GSE and no-phenol but needs to take a small dosage of Prozac

daily? I remember people posting that GSE should not be used if your child

is on one of the SSRI's.

Thanks in advance,
