Guest guest
I have had problems with sleep since my weight loss surgery in 10/99. I used to be able to sleep through the night, no problem, even if I fell asleep on the couch for an hour and then got up to go to bed. Now if I get that hour on the couch, I'm up for at least another 4 hours. It's awful. Also, having a problem with my back. I like to sleep on my stomach and I wake up at least 15 times a night with my low back screaming in pain. I roll back over on my side and go back to sleep, (sometimes I'm able to, other times I'm up for hours) only to flip over on my stomach again and wake up in agony again. The mattress is only two years old and we bought a really, really good one. Only place I seem to be able to sleep through the night is on the couch, so once a week I sleep the entire night there. Even if I take something to help me sleep so I can sleep in ed, the pain in my back wakes me up and I wander around for hours. The only good thing is that my laundry is all caught up and my bathroom and kitchen floors have never been cleaner. TV, books, nothing helps me get back to sleep. Just resigned myself to the fact that this is how it's going to be. Never had back problems before the weight loss. Has anyone developed anything similar to this?
