Guest guest
I woke up early today, excited over all I get to do before the day ends. I have responsibilities to fulfill today. I am important. My job is to choose what kind of day I am going to have. Today I can complain because the weather is rainy or ... I can be thankful that the grass is getting watered for free. Today I can feel sad that I don't have more money or... I can be glad that my finances encourage me to plan my purchases wisely and guide me away from waste. Today I can grumble about my health or... I can rejoice that I am alive. Today I can lament over all that my parents didn't give me when I was growing up or... I can feel grateful that they allowed me to be brn. Today I can cry because roses have thorns or... orI can celebrate that thorns have roses. Today I can mourn my lack of friends or... I can excitedly embark upon a quest to discover new relationships. Today I can whine because I have to go to work or... I can shout for joy because I have a job to do. Today I can complain because I have to go to school or... I can eagerly open my mind and fill it with rich new tidbits of knowledge. Today I can murmur dejectedly because I have to do housework or... I can feel honored because Life has provided shelter for my mind, body and soul. Today stretches ahead of me, waiting to be shaped. And here I am, the sculptor who gets to do the shaping. What today will be like is up to me. I get to choose what kind of day I ill have! Have a GREAT DAY ... unless you have other plans. ~Author Unknown~ Love and gentle hugs, Verlene

Warm Regards & ASD 11/25/00 in Maine Today we had a follow up with the pead and things went well. We don't have to go back for another 12 mths unless something changes. He was quite encouraged with the progress has made. So that was good. Then, went off to the GP for a pap test as it had not been done since was born. The doc did a breast exam and found a " thickened " area and guess who is off for a mammogram next week!!!! ARRGHHH. She is not too concerned but as my Mum has had two breast cancers removed we have to take it seriously. (she got her first at around 45) Needless to say I don't think I will tell her about it. I was pretty cool about it all today but as time goes by your mind plays games with you doesn't it and you think about it more and more. Anyway, should be all Ok. No, indeedy! My mother also had breast cancer when she was slightly older than me. I had a galactocele, just a sort of cyst filled with milk, when Enrique and were small and I did not tell my mother until I found out what it was. Alas, Lou did tell her because she called while I was at the doctor's and so she had a few hours of worry. > > I was pretty cool about it all today but as time goes by your mind plays games with you doesn't it and you think about it more and more. > > Yes. But probably it isn't. Salli
