Qualifications: Perfect attendance certificate -- 7th Grade >>

Hey Kathy B

Just my two cent's worth. I would actually like to pool ALL our resources.

I'd like to know what everyone's gifts and skills are, just like I know many,

many's heart stories here. It would be excellent to know what everyone

studied if they care to tell us. I don't think there is any harm in asking

when I would like to know. It is amazing to me all the resources we have on

this list in many directions, for instant, do you know there are some

excellent target shooters on this list, there is also an EXPERIENCED glass

blower, a fabulous knitter who has won awards, a bunch of motorcycle mamas

who can kick mean butt while standing on the pegs, ten or more craftpeople

that I know of, tons of writers, lots of great moms and dads, aunts and

uncles, and some people who have given years to studying science. I am

interested and want to know. I especially want to know about things that

affect our health, since we are so individual, since we just recently were

given the death of one post-op from malnutrition, since my own health is

frail and that is not an understatement. I have no problem with people

labeling their thoughts/offerings as personal and as personal opinion.

I am glad to see you had perfect attendance in 7th grade. That was a hard

year for many. Between newly found awareness of guys (or gals) and various

other temptations to 'ride in cars with older boys' a lot of us were somewhat

MIA, 'missing in the afternoon " (grin)

love,

ceep

Repeated kindergarden (serious) Am seriously remedial.

> I have been in a self pity bag for a couple of days because I

realized how boring I am. Without work and family, I have no

interests. Never really bothered me, but now that I have been

unemployed for so long, it is hitting home. So of course now

everyone is posting their interesting selves. I do hope this will be

my biggest problem for now compared to what I have lived through in

my lifetime. Miss dull, Fay Bayuk

Fay, my dear, you are anything but dull. I always enjoy your posts.

In fact, this list is far and away the best one out there, and I

don't think anyone on here is dull! I'm sure there are a few other

choice adjectives that may apply, but never dull. :))

I don't work either but I find that I could use a couple more hours

in the day! I work out with a trainer three times a week lifting

weights, I take pottery classes (where I sculpt naked old people), my

daughter and two granddaughters live with us and I am constantly

either running them somewhere- soccer, basketball, tennis, etc., I do

flower arranging, help out my 75 year old mother, I just finished

painting the outside of our house and am getting ready to paint the

inside of my mother's, and in my spare time I knit and sew. Three

other women and I go regularly to a dinner theater and that doesn't

count my support group meetings. That doesn't count finding time for

DH (he tends to get out of sorts when he's ignored. Imagine that!)

I plan to take a college course in nutrition in Jan. Check out your

local adult school and the junior colleges in your area. Bet they

have classes that you are interested in and they are cheap. My

pottery class is through the adult school at the local high school

and costs me $25.00 per semester with all the materials included and

they fire all my work at no cost. And I was a sexual assualt

volunteer and gave presentations at the grad schools to kindergarten

through third grade on personal safety. There's lots to do if you

are bored if you just know where to look and sometimes that the

problem. You just need some suggestions and then find what interests

you.

I haven't " worked " for the past 5 years, and my 4 (grown) kids are

all busy with their own lives. But somehow, I manage to create

enuf " work " for myself that I can't get more than 4 to 6 hours of

sleep a nite, I'm so busy
