Guest guest
<< Kathy B. Qualifications: Perfect attendance certificate -- 7th Grade >> Hey Kathy B Just my two cent's worth. I would actually like to pool ALL our resources. I'd like to know what everyone's gifts and skills are, just like I know many, many's heart stories here. It would be excellent to know what everyone studied if they care to tell us. I don't think there is any harm in asking when I would like to know. It is amazing to me all the resources we have on this list in many directions, for instant, do you know there are some excellent target shooters on this list, there is also an EXPERIENCED glass blower, a fabulous knitter who has won awards, a bunch of motorcycle mamas who can kick mean butt while standing on the pegs, ten or more craftpeople that I know of, tons of writers, lots of great moms and dads, aunts and uncles, and some people who have given years to studying science. I am interested and want to know. I especially want to know about things that affect our health, since we are so individual, since we just recently were given the death of one post-op from malnutrition, since my own health is frail and that is not an understatement. I have no problem with people labeling their thoughts/offerings as personal and as personal opinion. I am glad to see you had perfect attendance in 7th grade. That was a hard year for many. Between newly found awareness of guys (or gals) and various other temptations to 'ride in cars with older boys' a lot of us were somewhat MIA, 'missing in the afternoon " (grin) love, ceep Repeated kindergarden (serious) Am seriously remedial. Guest guest
decaf studies/ question for Ray > Dear Ray, I am wondering what your professional certifications and degrees > are, if I may ask? I see that you say that no one has presented any > scientific evidence of various things. Please clarify your credentials so we > have an idea what your background is. I am happy, if you like, to also share > mine background and certifications too. > thanks, love, > ceep > Since when has it become necessary to give one's qualifications in order to post an opinion or personal experience to this group? You didn't ask the people who gave their opinions about how many gallons of water one has to drink for every cup of coffee to give their qualifications. (And why shouldn't he ask where this information came from? Seems like a perfectly reasonable question--I was wondering the same thing myself). ~denise posted her opinion about milk and attached an article she had read, much the same as Ray, and you didn't ask for her qualifications and degrees. Ah, I get it. It's only people whose opinions you don't agree with who have to submit their " professional certifications " for your approval. Feeling welcome on this list has less to do with gushing over every newbie's introductory post than with making people feel free to voice a differing opinion or experience. When opinions that go against the conventional " wisdom " of this group are squelched, we all lose. There are very few absolutes in nutrition and information seems to change almost weekly. There is even less information for WLS people so all we really have is the free exchange of ideas. I would hate to lose that. Just my opinion of course, Kathy B.
