I've been reading all of the messages that go back and forth and I am amazed at the amount of support and love I see amongst people. My surgery date is August 2nd, is anyone else going to be getting it on that day? I don't know if I'm coming to Durham by myself and I would love to meet up with some people who can relate and who are going through the same thing. Looking forward to life on the other side.. We'll make reservations this week. I am looking froward to meeting you. My husband is also coming with us and we will have a car. I don't get it... Just read your post about the 600 lb patient. Oh my heart broke for her. Guest guest Posted September 17, 2002 Report Share Posted September 17, 2002 Hi : My doctor wanted me to have the weekly and I refused. I told him I didn't think it would work with our new plumbing. I'm taking the generic at 40 mg and if I were taking the real one it would be 30 mg. He upped it from 20 mg. to help through the changes. My meds are in capsules and easy to swallow.
