Guest guest
Helloooo everybody! I was stuck in traffic last night for almost an hour as the only bar in town caught fire which immediately turned our little hamlet into a sea of spectators and mourners clogging the streets. It gave me plenty of time to think about my statement that the problem with gobbling quarter pounders starts when you walk in the door. Well, I'm not saying I never went to a fast food joint. I've munched a couple of Taco Bell goodies myself and love 's chili. To be honest with myself, what really flabbergasted me was that one WLSer would eat that, and that much, in front of another WLSer! Let's be serious, if I'm going to eat like that now, I am totally going to hide it and deny it, except maybe on this board because you don't know my address and phone number. I would NEVER invite another WLSer out to lunch and gobble down a ton of fat laden high calorie no-no food, especially because you just have to know that we post ops are 100% aware of what the other post op is eating, and in truth, are probably conciously or subconsciously doing a quantity, protein and calorie count even as they swallow! Nope, I am going to invite another WLSer out for a healthy walk and, at the most decadent, top it of with (the dreaded!!) coffee. I will compare protein intake, supplement, exercise routines ad infinitum, but I wil NOT, NO WAY, let anyone witness me stick an entire quarter pounder with cheese in my mouth. Oh yeah, and since I'm not having anything physically wrong with me, I'll have to talk about relationships or the attitude of ignorant members society towards me so I can get a good dose of sympathy!! And it just happens I'm a slow loser, but sigh...I guess that's just the card I drew.
