What % or amount of the calories that we eat are not absorbed? I am trying to find my balance of daily calories to maintain my weight and count every calorie, but dont know if that is reasonable as well as I have fallen off of the wagon slightly and find that I have been able to maintain my current weight with eating some 'danger' foods daily. Any information or advice would be great. I seem to be obsessing and need to hear from others whether it is obsessing or being realistic and smart to scare myself into counting calories.
