Guest guest
Ray, You haven't mentioned what blood pressure meds you are taking. Peg's B/P goes off on a tangent at times also. A fairly standard medical approach to raising B/P would be to take florinef in conjunction with midodrine. There are several different ways the combination can be taken. In addition you should probably be taking increased salt (we use boullion cube tea; buffered salt tablets are another option). Finally increased fluids such as water or juices will be helpful. A simple test that is indicative for many is a measurement of the heart rate at the same time as the B/P is taken. A raised heart rate when the B/P is low that can indicate some dehydration making the heart work harder. Be sure to check with your doctor on these matters.
