Great suggestions, I would not have thought of the extra pillows but

they will help. And, the idea of using hotel restrooms is terrific,

wish I had thought of that on our last trip as the gas stations are

horrid. Jerry is catheterized so it does cut down on the number of

bathroom stops we make, but still, anything to avoid the truck stops.

I will personally go bonkers if I drive more than six hours so this

will be a very, very slow cross country trip. Also suggested was

drinking lots of water. The front seat is our car becomes a

wheelchair so I will not have to transfer Jerry a lot but still, just

getting in and out of hotels will be trying after all the driving and

all the equipment that I will be hauling in and out of the hotels.

Someone else suggested using bell hops when stopping. I will do that

when they are available but most interstate stops will be motels and

it will be me and the hand cart. At several stops we will have

friends or family in the area who can give me some assistance. I

look forward to seeing you in NC. Thanks again to you and the others
