Guest guest
We were told there was a four hour window after death during which the brain could be harvested. Mayo sent a special preserving fluid the day before Ken died, and the Mortuary agreed to let the people in during the night. Barbara
Guest guest
What does the procedure involve with relationship to time after death. How long before everything is completed and the funeral can occur? Jan > > For the sake of my offspring, I wanted to donate my brain. Guest guest
My father passed on Tuesday (4/16). That night, his body was flown to Little Rock b/c the pathologist there had more experience removing the brain and spinal cord. His body was sent back on Thursday and the funeral was Friday. I'm not sure how soon after death the tissue needs to be removed, but I know the window of opportunity is very small. Hope that helps some. in OK --- janburg88 bosendorfer88@...> wrote: > What does the procedure involve with relationship to > time after > death.
