My fistula is still there filling it didn't work :(

I had my follow up appointment with my surgeon yesterday and he said

I still have a fistula that really sucks. He tried everything

possible to get the fibrin filler material to adhere by causing acar

tissue and bleeding too because this material is used to cause blood

clots. Anyway he injected three times as much but it just didn't

stick around. Now my only option is major surgery he would go in

and staple the fistula shut then remove part of my distal stomach

and staple that shut. He would have to cut through all the scar

tissue from where the spleen used to be and that would be trouble

some. My fistula is up really high too right next to where my

spleen used to be I wonder about that anyway I am in the process of

getting insurance and another opinion before going ahead with any

surgery. So I will let you all know what I decide to do since the

fistula is causing major problems not just the 30lbs that I have

gained but the dumping and pain I get after I eat all the time.
