Guest guest
Hi I was really shocked to read that someone here was using the pill as birth control. I was told from the very beginning that birth control pills DO NOT work for people who have had this surgery. Both your OBGYN and doctor should have know this and told. I don't know what can do, but I belive it is malpractice or at extreme negligence, not tell you this. Nothing is full proof, but they know it doesn't work us. I was on control pills for 7 years before the surgery and it was hard to go off, I was nauseous for 3 months after surgery because of not having them. Two years later I am now going back on birth control. It is hard, because the side effect are many. I tried the patch and couldn't eat for weeks, I so nauseous, so I went off it. On the ring now, and though it doesn't bother my stomach I do think it has caused depression. I hope after a while this will go away. I hate to live my whole not being able to go vacation and such because I can never tell when my period will show up.
