stress makes us fat

A really REALLY good article in the Sept issue of Beyond Change, explaining

how chronic stress of various types causes changes in the body which affect

appetite, blood sugar levels, insulin (and other horomones) secretion, fat

mass/accumulation/ storage, etc.

The main message is that this all contributes to weight gain. So if you're

having any trouble losing or maintaining, or are gaining, it may help to look

into what your stressors are and get rid of them -- or at least do something

daily to de-stress.

Copies of the article can be ordered from the website.
