Guest guest Posted September 29, 2002 Report Share Posted September 29, 2002 A really REALLY good article in the Sept issue of Beyond Change, explaining how chronic stress of various types causes changes in the body which affect appetite, blood sugar levels, insulin (and other horomones) secretion, fat mass/accumulation/ storage, etc. The main message is that this all contributes to weight gain. So if you're having any trouble losing or maintaining, or are gaining, it may help to look into what your stressors are and get rid of them -- or at least do something daily to de-stress.
