Well I've been making poor Vitalady listen to me moan, and it seems only fair to

make everyone suffer equally!

My 2 year labs were a bit bothersome to me. One of the issues is my protein

level, which is still normal, but has been steadily declining since surgery,

from a beginning of 6.9 to its current level of 6.1.

What were your protein levels at your last bloodwork?

This latest rash of emails about protein shakes could not have come at a better

time for me. I like the shakes, but I don't wanna give up any food to drink

more shakes! I have been ingesting in excess of 120 gms of protein a day, but

it seems pretty apparent that food protein may not doing the job. So, I am

going to have to buckle down and add another shake or two a day. It looks like

the evening snack may have to go :<

I remember praying to God 5 years ago, that if he/she would just help me get the

weight off, I would do whatever it took to keep it off and stay healthy. I

guess God and my surgeon did their part, and now I've gotta put my money where

my mouth is.

On May 24th I had my 12 month labs done...my protein level was 6.5

with normal being 6.0 - 8.3 according to the lab that did the

tests...

Good Luck,
